Did you respond to or witness an emergency?
Responding to an emergency is not always easy and may have a long-lasting effect. There are also normal reactions to abnormal events which require recognition and processing. It is very common to feel that you “should have done more” or that you should have done something differently. The important thing is that you acted to save a life, including simply calling 911 or getting someone else to help. Remember that regardless of the outcome, you made a difference.
